This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 70 days in filing the appeal against the award made in MCOP.No.2072 of 2023 dated 18.02.2025 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal cum Special District Judge to deal with MCOP Cases, Madurai.

2. Mr.V.J.Kumaravel, learned counsel takes notice for Respondent Nos.1 to 4. The name of the fifth respondent has been printed in the cause list. However, there is no representation on behalf of the fifth respondent either in person or through counsel.

3. Considering the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is allowed and delay is condoned.

4. Registry is directed to number the petition if it is otherwise in order and further directed to print the name of the counsel for the respondent Nos.1 to 4 at the time of posting the appeal for admission.
