ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for R1 to R4. Issuance of notice to R5 is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner in this writ petition wants this Court to restrain the authorities from making any mutation in the revenue record till the disposal of the appeal by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dindigul.

3. The learned Government Advocate draws my attention to the order dated 07.11.2023 made in W.P.(MD)No.26695 of 2023 filed by the fifth respondent herein. This Court had directed the Tahsildar, Nilakottai to pass order on the fifth respondent's representation. Based on the same, the Tahsildar had also passed an order in favour of Subbuthai on 03.02.2024. Questioning 2/4

the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the fourth respondent.

4. The fourth respondent is directed to pass final order on the petitioner's appeal on merits and in accordance with within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
