The petitioners are facing trial in S.T.C.No.2938 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Virudhunagar, for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.3876 of 2020 offences under Sections 143 and 188 of IPC and Sections 184 and 179 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on Thevar Jeyanthi, the petitioners had behaved in an unruly fashion. 3.The petitioners have now expressed their sincere regrets for their conduct and they have also given an undertaking in writing that they will conduct themselves properly in future and they have also conveyed their sincere apology to the respondent police. 4.Since the petitioners are youngsters, I am of the view that the continuation of the impugned prosecution may affect their future and career. Since they appear to have realized their mistake, the impugned prosecution stands quashed. This criminal original petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
