Respondents PRAYER : The petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant the petitioner 'One Time Settlement' for pre-closing the petitioner's housing loan account No.1010-619-7248 by waving the balance outstanding principal due amount of Rs.3,58,107/- as mentioned in the settlement of account towards the total amount of Rs.12,35,686/- to be repaid by her.

Heard Mr.T.Sakthikumaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Pala Ramasamy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent Bank. 2.The petitioner is before this Court to direct the respondent bank to grant 'One Time Settlement' for her housing loan and she has raised certain contentions with regard to the rate of interest in respect of the said loan.

3.In our considered view, all these issues cannot be adjudicated in a writ petition.

4.The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents Bank submitted that 'One Time Settlement' proposal offered by the petitioner is under active consideration in accordance with norms. 5.Therefore, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the petitioner to appear before the second respondent / Bank for pursuing 'One Time Settlement' proposal and the respondent / Bank shall consider the same on or before 31.03.2018. No costs.
