ORDER

Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent.

2. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for in the writ petition, with the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner has preferred an appeal by way of a revision petition dated 16.12.2024, which is pending on the file of the 1st respondent. The petitioner seeks removal of the 2nd respondent's name from the revenue records which has arisen because of an error in the UDR. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said revision petition dated 16.12.2024 is pending without any progress.

4. Considering the limited scope of prayer, it would be suffice to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's revision petition dated 16.12.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law, after 2/4

affording a fair opportunity to the petitioner as well as the 2nd respondent. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations and directions. No costs.
