This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to call for the records relating to FIR in Crime No.651 of 2014 dated 7.10.2014 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Melur Police Station, Madurai District and quash the same. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.

3.A bare reading of FIR in Crime No.651 of 2014 dated 07.10.2014 informs commission of Cognizable offence. Hence, this petition cannot be allowed. However, considering the submission that there is no progress in investigation, this Court would direct the respondent to complete investigation as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

expeditiously as possible preferably within period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. This petition shall stand dismissed.
