ORDER

This petition has been filed by the respondents to quash the proceedings in D.V.A.No.4 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thoothukudi.

2.The respondent herein has filed an application under Section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act and the said application was taken on file in D.V.A.No.4 of 2017, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thoothukudi. To quash the proceedings, in D.V.A.No.4 of 2017 respondents have filed the present criminal Original Petition.

3.This Court has directed, both the parties to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre. Accordingly, both the parties appeared before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai and both parties have amicably settled the issue before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre and a report has also been filed before this Court.

4.Considering the aforesaid facts, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in D.V.A.No.4 of 2017, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thoothukudi is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

quashed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
