ORDER

The petitioner herein made a complaint dated 28.07.2017, to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her husband Pandiyaraj's life and limb. Since no action was taken on the complaint, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner got married to one Pandiaraj on 16.07.2017 at Arulmigu Sri Chinna Kaliamman Thirukovil, Dharapuram, Tirupur District and the marriage was registered before the Sub Registrar Office, Dharapuram. The said marriage was not accepted by the petitioner's family. In the meantime, in search of the petitioner and her husband, the fourth respondent has trespassed into the house of the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

husband. Hence, the petitioner made a complaint dated 28.07.2017 to the respondents 1 to 3 herein. Since, no further action on her complaint, this Criminal Original Petition came to be filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor filed a status report of the third respondent before this Court. In Paragraph - 4 of the Status Report, it is stated the said complaint was made during the pendency of the Habeas Corpus Petition. After the closure of the said petition, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents, requesting the respondents not to take any action on her representation, as she is living with Pandiaraj without any disturbance from anybody.

4. Therefore, this Court is of the view that there is no necessity to pass any further direction in this Criminal Original Petition. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondents for seeking protection, if necessary, in future. 5.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
