RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition imposed by this honourable Court in Crl.O.P. (MD).No.1691 of 2022 dt 08.02.2022 in the FIR in Cr.No.24/2021 registered on the file of respondent police by directing the petitioner to report before the respondent police once in a week i.e., on Sunday at 10.30 AM.
Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.VISHNUVARTHANAN P.M., Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAICHAMY, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition as 'to report before the respondent police once in a week i.e., on Sunday at 10.30 a.m.' instead of 'to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m until further order in Crl.OP(MD)No.1691 of 2022, dated 08.02.2022 in the FIR in Crime No.24 of 2021 registered on the file of the respondent police.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit by the order dated 08.02.2022, he has been released on bail with some conditions. One of the condition is that he should be appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m until further orders. From 18.02.2022 onwards, he is appearing before the respondent police without fail. He is working as painter and eking out his life with daily wage. CRL MP(MD) No.3156 of 2022 3.The petitioner ought to have filed an application for relaxation. But, however, Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the condition imposed by this Court, dated 08.02.2022, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police once in a week i.e., every Sunday at 10.30 a.m until further orders. The other conditions shall remain unaltered.
