to grant bail.

2. The petitioner / Accused No.4 was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 12.01.2025 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 and 29(1) of the NDPS Act, in Crime No.2 of 2025 on the file of the respondent-police.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondentpolice, on instructions, submits that investigation in this case has been transferred to NIB-CID, Sivagangai and registered FIR in Crime No.7 of 2025.

4. In view of the above submission, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition. To that effect, he has made an endorsement in the case file. The scanned reproduction of the endorsement is as follows:
