ORDER

The petitioner, with a grievance that election has not been conducted for Devakkottai Mohaideen Andavar Pallivasal, Sivagangai District, has submitted a representation dated 02.01.2024 to the respondents/Waqf Board requesting them to take necessary action to conduct election and has also filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct election in Devakkottai Mohaideen Andavar Pallivasal, Sivagangai District, by considering his representation dated 02.01.2024.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents/Waqf Board submits that steps have been taken for conducting the election and the election would be conducted immediately after the Ramzan period is over.

3. Since the petitioner's representation has been addressed by the respondents by taking necessary steps to conduct election, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
