This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.12,50,000/- along with 18 percent interest based on bills submitted by the petitioner for the construction of vote counting halls, Electronic voting machines storage rooms and for laying approach road during the general elections to the legislative assembly for the year 2021 based on the various representations dated 17/10/2022, 23/05/2025, 04/12/2025 along with legal notice dated 26/12/2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner submitted representations on various occasions claiming payment based on the bills for the work done by the petitioner. However, since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, would submit that within a considerable period, the representation would be considered.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
