Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner seeks re-issuance of passport. The criminal case registered against the petitioner culminated into final report and it has been taken on file in S.T.C.No.1358 of 2022 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi. The petitioner has to move the learned trial magistrate for a relief that he now sought. The petitioner is at liberty to file a miscellaneous petition before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi. After the same is filed, the learned Trial Magistrate shall dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks thereafter.

3.With this liberty to the writ petitioner and direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi. This writ petition is disposed of. Registry to mark a copy of this order to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi. No costs.
