O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned memorandum No.2585/OTD-F1/2011, dated 27.10.2015, issued by the second respondent and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of Child Development Project Officer, as per the Notification dated 28.11.2014.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the selection process for the post of Child Development Project Officer issued in the year 2014, the impugned rejection order was passed in the year 2015, on the ground that she has chosen the optional 2/5

subject as Nutrition and Dietetics instead of Home Science. He would further submit that liberty may be given to the petitioner to participate in the future selection process.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to participate in the next selection process. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
