PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider and pass order on the renewal application filed by the petitioner dated 11.04.2015 in respect of his stage carriage, bearing Registration No.TN45 AC 2982 which was permitted to ply on the route M.G.Gate to Kavalkaranpatti. Mr.M.Jeyakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

2.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.The petitioner is a stage carriage operator. The petitioner is plying his stage carriage operator from Trichy M.G.Gate to Kavalkaranpatti. The petitioner's permit got expired. He has given application for renewal of the same for the period from 06.05.2015 to 05.06.2020. Since the renewal application was not considered, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 22.11.2017. The receipt of the same has not been acknowledged by the second respondent.

accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
