ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition in Na.Ka.Aa6/5606/2016 dated 20.12.2016 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.P.Arun Jayatram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent. Notice to the second respondent is dispensed with in view of the nature of the order to be passed by this Court.

3.According to the petitioner, challenging the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchirappalli, dated 23.10.2015 cancelling the patta, the petitioner filed a revision before the first respondent which is pending. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

4.Considering the fact that the revision is pending from 2016, the first respondent is directed to consider the revision of the petitioner dated 20.12.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the second respondent. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
