O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land in S.No.155/4B1B at Puthu Madam Village, Puthu Madam Group, Ramanathapuram District, within the stipulated time. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that an application dated 12.12.2025 was made seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question. Since no action has been taken by the respondents 1 to 3, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that after considering the claims of all parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in 2/5

accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923. He further submitted that the Tahsildar, Ramanathapuram, is the competent authority to take appropriate action in this regard. However, the petitioner has not impleaded him as a party to this writ petition.

In view of the above submissions, this Court suo motu impleads the Tahsildar, Ramanathapuram, as the fourth respondent and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent/ Tahsildar to consider the petitioner's application dated 12.12.2025 on merits and in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
