ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 30-12-2017, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.S.Ayyanar Premkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 2nd respondent and Mr.P.Kannidevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent.

3.According to the petitioner, he claims to be a resident of Sullangudi, Veerachalan Post, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District. The village panchayat is not maintaining water line properly and is not providing regular water supply in the locality and therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 30.12.2017 before the respondents 1 and 2. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the grievance expressed by the petitioner in his representation dated 30.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
