O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, her husband and her in laws by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 01.08.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The petitioner stated that she married her husband against the wishes of her parents and that therefore, her parents lodged a complaint before the third respondent and they are threatening the petitioner, her husband and in laws. In those circumstances, the petitioner also has given a representation to the respondents 1 and 2. Pursuant to the representation given by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted by the second respondent. Before the second respondent, the petitioner herself appeared and submitted that no further action need be taken on her representation, as her parents are not harassing her or threatening her.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, while closing this petition as unnecessary, this Court also direct the respondents to consider the representation, if any received from the petitioner in future in the manner known to law.
