O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to disburse a sum of Rs.1,00,581/- spent by the petitioner for the treatment underwent by her husband within a stipulated period. 2/6

2. The case of the petitioner is that she worked in the Registration Department as Sub-Registrar and retired from service and she has been receiving pension regularly. While being so, the petitioner's husband fell ill and the petitioner spent a sum of Rs.1,00,581/- for the medical treatment of her husband. Subsequently, the petitioner submitted an application to the fifth respondent by enclosing the bills and discharge summary on 30.01.2023, requesting to reimburse the amount spent by her. The said application was not considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondents are directed to dispose of the application made by the petitioner seeking medical reimbursement before the fifth respondent on 30.01.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

Insurance Company have no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application, dated 30.01.2023, made before the fifth respondent and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
