cancel the patta bearing Patta No.785 issued in the name of the respondents 4 & 5 by the third respondent for their family joint property of bearing survey No.623/3AA with an extent of 0.73.50 Ares, situated at Nangavaram South II Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District and consequently issue patta in all the Legal Heirs of the Late.Kumarasamy Pillai S/o.Shanmugam Pillai.

ORDER
With the consent of the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
2. I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
3. Though the writ petition has been filed with prayers for disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2024; cancellation of patta bearing Patta No.785 issued in the name of the respondents 4 & 5; consequently issued patta in the names of the legal 2/5
heir of the late.Kumarasamy Pillai, today when the writ petition is taken up for disposal, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the second respondent to complete the pending enquiry in Na.Ka.A1/3934/2024 dated 20.09.2024 which has been initiated based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2024.

In view of the restricted prayer sought for by the petitioner and having heard the counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition directing the second respondent to complete the enquiry in Na.Ka.A1/3934/2024 dated 20.09.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
