O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein/Sub Inspector of Police, Kattuputhur Police Station, Thiruchirappalli District, to investigate and to file a final report in Crime No.417 of 2015, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. It is stated that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.417 of 2015 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 324, 355, 357 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. The petitioner stated that there is no progress, despite the fact that the accused are known and there is no reason for any delay.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost over and that final report will be filed within two months.

5. Recording the said submission of the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side), this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- " The respondent herein is directed to file a final report in Crime No.417 of 2015 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
