O R D E R
This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein/Sub Inspector of Police, Kattuputhur police station, Thiruchirappalli District, to investigate the case and to file a final report in Crime No.323 of 2015, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.
3. It is stated that a case was registered in Crime No.323 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(i) of I.P.C., on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police has not shown progress and there was no further investigation. In such circumstances, he submitted that the petitioner is constrained to file this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on instructions submitted that there was progress in the investigation and the respondent police will be able to file a final report within two months.
6. Recording the said statement of the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side), this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and to file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
