ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent to file final report in Crime No.224 of 2013 on the file of the Nithiravilai Police Station, Kanyakumari District dated 25.09.2023 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents, after completing the investigation, has laid the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kulithalai as 'further action dropped' and RCS notice was also served on the petitioner.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that no RCS notice has been served on him.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), nothing survives for further adjudication and 2/4

hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Further the second respondent police is directed to serve RCS notice to the petitioner and on receipt of the same, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the concerned court by way of protest petition in the manner known to law.
