..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2017 and consequently, direct to grant the drought scheme amount to him.

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2017.
2. According to the petitioner, he is an agriculturist having agricultural lands in patta No.777 an extent of 0.46.50 Hectares of Nanja land and 1.72.00 Hectares of Punja land. There is a crop loss due to drought relief in the year 2016-2017 and hence, he made a representation to the authority to pay the drought relief amount. But so far, no order has been passed on the representation of the petitioner, hence the present writ petition has been filed.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that already the respondents assessed the crop loss to the tune of Rs.27,000/- (Rupees Twenty Seven Thousand only), and out of which, already a sum of Rs.8,000/- (Rupees Eight Thousand only) has been paid to the petitioner by the second respondent, and the remaining amount will be paid as per the seniority. The crop loss was assessed and part of the drought relief amount has also been granted to the petitioner, the second respondent / Tahsildar is directed to pay the remaining amount within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
