ORDER

This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to direct the respondent to complete the investigation of the case in Crime No.02 of 2015, dated 02.01.2015 pending on his file and to lay the final report within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. side) for the State.

3. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complaint was preferred as early as on 02.01.2014, we find that the case has been registered only on 02.01.2015.

4. Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition shall stand disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. Further, in the event of unduly delay in conducting investigation, it is open to the petitioner to move this Court afresh.
