Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to accommodate the petitioner in any one of the vacancy in the post of BT Assistant-Maths in Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2018 and 15.03.2018 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner is working as a graduate teacher. Her grievance is that no fair procedure was adopted during the counselling stage. She has been transferred from Tirunelveli to Villupuram. She was also forced to join. Her specific contention is that the vacancy position in Tirunelveli was not disclosed. 3.According to the petitioner, there are still 14 vacancies available in Tirunelveli District and therefore, she can very well be accommodated against any one of those vacancies in the post of BT Assistant (Maths) in Tirunelveli District. In this regard, she had given representations dated 27.02.2018 and 15.03.2018. The first respondent is directed to consider the said representations https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and pass an appropriate order on merits in accordance with law on or before 30.04.2018. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
