2.The petitioner is presently working as Assistant in Sivagangai District. The third respondent has drawn the tentative seniority list in the post of Assistant. The petitioner is having certain grievances about the ranking assigned to him. He has given objections on 01.03.2018. His specific contention is that final seniority list will be drawn and promotion also granted based on the said seniority list.

3.Considering the urgency expressed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's objection dated 01.03.2018, on or before 20.04.2018. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
