ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent.
2.The petitioner has come to the Court at notice stage. The second respondent herein is the mother of the writ petitioner. She had invoked the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act. The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that without giving her sufficient opportunity, the matter is being fast-tracked. This grievance of the petitioner is well founded. Thus, the petitioner shall be given one more opportunity. The petitioner shall appear before the first respondent on 28.02.2023 at 11.00 am. The petitioner will not be given independent notice. On the said date, copy of the petition filed by the second respondent will be served on the petitioner. The petitioner can take a maximum of seven days to offer her response.
The enquiry will be conducted afresh and thereafter final order will be passed on merits and in accordance with law. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The learned Special Government Pleader is directed to communicate this order orally to the first respondent without waiting for the certified copy of the order.
