ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to complete the enquiry and dispose the Appeal No.1/2017, filed by the petitioner, which is pending on the file of the first respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.Aggrieved by the orders of the second respondent refusing to register the sale deed for the property comprised in S.No.90/2B bearing Patta No.1023, measuring an extent of 2.60 cents situated in South Veeravanallur Village, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, the petitioner has preferred a statutory appeal before the first respondent in Appeal No.1 of 2017. Since the appeal has not been disposed of till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for early disposal of the appeal. 3.Heard Mr.P.P.Alwin Balan, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.3978 of 2022 Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.The statutory appeal filed by the petitioner is of the year 2017. Since the appeal is of the year 2017, no prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's appeal is directed to be disposed of expeditiously.

5.Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's appeal in Appeal No.1 of 2017, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary parties, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
