This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The petitioner stated that he presented a petition to the respondent police, on 26.06.2017, against one Murugan. Instead of taking action on the petitioner's complaint, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is being harassed on the basis of the complaint received from the said Murugan. The petitioner also stated that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the said Murugan.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on instructions submitted that no complaint was received against the petitioner from any one. However, the complaint was lodged by the petitioner and the same was enquired and closed, as the matter is purely civil in nature.
