This Criminal Original petition is filed to direct the respondent herein to expedite the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.353 of 2011, dated 14.07.2011, within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) produced the proceedings of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Trichy City, dated 21.09.2011. Since the place of occurrence falls within the jurisdiction of Airport police station, the case that was registered in Crime No.353 of 2011 on the file of the K.K.Nagar police station, has been transferred to the Airport police station and produced communication.

4. In view of the same, the case is not pending before the respondent police.

5. Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and the proceedings of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Trichy City, the Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
