Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second and third respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner. For Petitioner : Mr.S.J.Chakkkaravarthy For Respondents 1 to 3 : Mr.A.Robinson Government Advocate (Criminal Side)

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second and third respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner.

2.The main grievance of the petitioner is that since she married against her parents wishes, they are threatening her with dire consequences.

3.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 3 on instructions, would contend that the petitioner's representation was registered in CSR No.76 of 2021 and posted for enquiry.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioners, based on findings and on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3482 of 2021 of this order / uploading of this order, after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the private respondents. In the meanwhile, if necessary, the respondent police shall give adequate police protection to the petitioner.
