O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 1st Respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.01.2026 seeking allotment of the burial ground in Survey No.108 at Vadakkanpatti Village of Karumathur which have been in the possession and enjoyment of the petitioner family for the last four generations to bury their deceased elders and use it as a place of worship.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already sent a representation on 03.01.2026 seeking allotment of the burial ground in Survey No.108 at Vadakkanpatti Village of Karumathur which have been in the possession and enjoyment of the petitioner family for the last four generations to bury their deceased elders and use it as a place of worship. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 5 to 7 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 03.01.2026 would be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.01.2026, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
