JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) Heard the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellants. The writ petitioner school had been served and its name is also printed in the cause list, but there is no appearance either in person on through counsel.

2.The respondent herein filed W.P(MD)No.21065 of 2019 seeking approval of the appointment of one Vijayakumar made by them. The learned single Judge vide order dated 08.11.2019 allowed the writ petition. Aggrieved by the same, this writ appeal has been filed. 3.It is not in dispute that the school is a stand-alone institution. The appointee also possess the requisite qualifications and he has cleared the TET 2/4

examination. Only after obtaining prior permission from the department, the appointment was made. During the interregnum period, the appointment was approved by proceedings dated 21.06.2024 issued by the District Educational Officer, Elementary Education, Sivagangai. In view of the above, nothing survives in this appeal.

4.This Writ Appeal stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
