This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.05.2025 within a reasonable time.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the private respondent notice is dispensed with.
3. The petitioner submitted a representation on 21.05.2025 to redress his grievance with respect to his property and by erroneously mentioning the area and description, the 5th respondent obtained quarry license. However, since no action has been taken on the said representation, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader and the learned standing counsel, appearing for the respondents, submit that within a time stipulated by this Court, the representation would be considered. 2/4
5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
