O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 not to harass the petitioner in guise of enquiry. 2.According to the petitioner, he is doing real estate business and also used to buy and sell gold ornaments. In this business, the petitioner and his son-in-law suffered huge loss and they lent money to the people who have invested and settled the same after sale of gold jewelry and the house. While so, the third respondent has lodged a false complaint against the petitioner and taking advantage of the same, the second respondent harassed the petitioners. Therefore, the representation, dated 03.02.2025 has been sent and the same has not been considered so far. Hence this

petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, the respondent police called the petitioner for enquiry and in this case, more than a sum of Rs.53 Lakhs is involved. Apart from that, the respondent police have not harassed the petitioner in any way. In order to escape from the enquiry, the petitioner filed this petition. However, they received representation from the petitioner and will dispose of it within fifteen days.

4.Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass order.

5.Since the leaned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) admitted the receipt of the petitioner's representation, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 03.02.2025 within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order, in the manner known to law.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
