ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue birth certificate to the petitioner's daughter Dhanushree on the basis of her birthday dated 03.01.2018 by including the petitioner's name Ramasamy and his wife Ramayee as her parents so as to enable to continue his daughter's education by considering the representation dated 23.01.2025.
2.While hearing the case on admission on 20.02.2025, this Court directed the petitioner to produce an affidavit attested by the notary, address of two persons in the locality, challan of payment and paper publication. Today, ie., on 12.06.2025, the petitioner has submitted an additional typed set of papers enclosing the paper publication, challan, copy of the affidavit and confession statements given by the village people.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the said papers ought to be submitted before the authorities. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the papers have already been submitted before the authorities. 4.The petitioner is directed to submit another copy of the additional 2/4
typed set of papers before the respondents within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents shall consider the same and pass orders within a period of one week therefrom. 5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
