The petitioner is the brother-in-law of the defacto complainant and he has been added as 4th accused in Crime No.27 of 2024 on the file of 1/4

the respondent Police, which has been registered for the offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 323 and 506(2) IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Therefore, he has filed this petition seeking to quash the said proceedings.

2. Today, when this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) and learned counsel Mr.S.M.Ramsiva, who entered appearance for the 2nd respondent submit that the investigation in Crime No.27 of 2024 was completed and the final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri on 06.02.2025 and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.66 of 2025.
