O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to issue addendum for the Notification No.1 of 2025 dated 24.01.2025, so as to enable the petitioner to apply for the post of Assistant Professor, Government Law Colleges and consequently permitting the petitioner to participate in the selection process viz., making application, attending written examination, attending interview and certificate verification with respect to Notification No.1 of 2025 dated 24.01.2025 based on his representations dated 27.01.2025 and 11.02.2025.

2. During the course of hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent / Teachers Recruitment Board has placed a copy of the addendum dated 21.02.2025, wherein it is stated that such candidates will be allowed to appear for the Written Examination for the post of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Assistant Professor (Pre-Law) only if they pass the TNSET 2024 examination.

3. On perusal of the addendum dated 21.02.2025, issued by the Teachers Recruitment Board, in my considered view, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
