O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner wherein the petitioner is seeking for the deletion of the entries made in the revenue records during the UDR scheme and to restore the Patta in the name of the petitioner.

2. Heard Mr.M.Mohammed Sherbudeen, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. In the considered view of this Court, the correction in the UDR scheme can be carried out only by the concerned District Revenue Officer(D.R.O.). The respondents do not have the jurisdiction to deal with the same. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation before the concerned D.R.O. and work out his remedy in accordance with law.
