This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to direct the third and fourth respondents not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents.

3. It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that under the guise of enquiry, pursuant to the complaint lodged by third party against the petitioner, the petitioner was harassed by the respondent police.

4.The learned Government Advocate, however, on instructions, submitted that no enquiry was conducted and hence, there was no harassment.

5.Having regard to the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the Criminal Original petition is closed. However the respondent police shall not unnecessarily harass the petitioner. Even if the appearance of the petitioner is required, it can also be done only by issuing summons to the petitioner prescribing date and time.
