ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to rectify the Patta and FMB as per the Gift Deed in Document No.5543/2022, dated 26.08.2022, relating to the petitioner's landed property situated at Adiyanoothu Village, Nayakkanpatti Sub Division, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2026.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the lawful owner of the subject property and is entitled to have the property records correctly reflected in the Patta and FMB Sketch. Due to clerical

errors, the extent of the property was wrongly mentioned in the Patta and the survey number was wrongly mentioned in the FMB Sketch, causing inconvenience and affecting the petitioner's lawful rights. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 02.02.2026 requesting the respondents to rectify the mistakes. Despite the submission of the representation, the respondents have failed to take any action or pass orders, thereby denying the petitioner the benefits and legal recognition entitled to her. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2026, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing

reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
