PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pay salary for having surrendered 45 days earned leave for encashment with 6% interest.

ORDER
Mr.A.Jeyaram, learned Standing counsel takes notice for the respondents.
2.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The petitioner is a retired employee of the respondent/Corporation. He retired on 31.12.2016. But the petitioner's leave surrender salary is yet to be disbursed. Hence this Writ Petition has been filed.
4.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent would disburse the said leave surrender salary benefit within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
