ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the the respondents to measure and identify the boundaries of the landed property in survey Nos.1/3A2, 1/3B1 and 6/7A measuring to an extent of 10.50 ares, situated in Aathalur Revenue Village, Peravurani Taluk, Thanjavur District.
2.According to the petitioner, the property in survey Nos.1/3A2, 1/3B1 and 6/7A measuring to an extent of 10.50 ares, situated in Aathalur Revenue Village, Peravurani Taluk, Thanjavur District, belongs to the petitioner and his brothers and in order to fence the property, the petitioner wants to measure the same. Hence, earlier, he has filed an application before the second respondent on 03.05.2017 and he has also paid necessary fee. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has filed another application on 12.02.2018 and once again he has paid necessary fee. Despite the same, no order has been passed. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending for long time, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 12.02.2018 and survey the land as per the revenue records, after issuing notice to the petitioner and rival claimants, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
