Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks cancellation of the joint patta in respect of the petition mentioned lands. The materials enclosed in the typed set of papers indicate that survey No.24/1 as well as survey No.24/2 stood in the name of Mookandi Kudumban. The petitioner is the son of the said Mookandi Kudumban. The grievance of the petitioner is even though his father did not alienate the property in favour of anybody, patta reflects the names of the third parties. Hence, he seeks their cancellation and restoration of the original position.

3. It is stated that the second respondent had already concluded the enquiry.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader informed the Court that final order is to be passed shortly.
