This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent and their officials not to harass the petitioners unnecessarily against law under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and

the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that pursuant to the report received from the District Social Welfare Officer, Madurai District, a case has been registered against the petitioners in Cr.No.2 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 506(i) of IPC.

4.Recording submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to seek their remedy in the manner known to law.
