O R D E R

This petition is filed for issuing a direction directing the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that a case has been registered as against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Section 306 of I.P.C. in Crime No.431 of 2017. It was further submitted that only in connection with the said criminal case which was registered against the petitioner, the petitioner was called for an enquiry. It was also submitted that there was no harassment as it was focussed by the petitioner. 3.Considering the facts narrated above, this Court is of the view that there was no specific incident for harassment as pleaded by the petitioner in the petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the respondent shall not indulge in any harassment. Even if the petitioner's presence is required in connection with any criminal conduct, he can be enquired only after issuing summon in the manner prescribed in law.
