ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.09.2025 and dispose the same expeditiously within time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents 3 and 4, notice to the respondents 3 and 4 are hereby dispensed with.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the land measuring an extent of 1 Acre and 11 Cents in S.No.1519/4, situated at Senthamangalam Village, Avarakurichi Taluk, Karur District. Subsequently, the petitioner sold an extent of 1 Acre and 5 Cents to a third party and retained 6 Cents, which is being used as a burial ground by the villagers.

It is further submitted that the purchaser fraudulently obtained patta for the entire extent of the property and, on the strength of the said forged patta, interfered with the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the remaining 6 Cents. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 27.09.2025 to the second respondent seeking verification of the revenue records and appropriate action. However, no action has been taken till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

6. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.09.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the respondents 3 and 4 and

any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
