ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner / A1, who was arrested for the offences punishable under Section 489(A(B)(C)(D) IPC @489(C)in Crime No.227 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused printed fake currency notes of Rs.2000/- and Rs.500/-. When A1 and A2 came in a two wheeler, the respondent Police intercepted them and found the fake currency notes worth about Rs.1,32,60,000/-.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that totally there are 3 accused and the petitioner is arrayed as A1 in this case. He also submitted that the petitioner is having one previous case in Crime No.222 of 2015. He further submitted that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
printing machine and computer which were used for printing the fake currency notes, were seized by the respondent Police and investigation is still pending. He further submitted that the conduct of the petitioner and the other accused has affected the economy of the country.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the alleged currency notes were recovered from the petitioner and also the gravity of offence said to have been committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed.
